Chapter One
The RV felt tight. Too tight to fit three people in it even though it was made to comfortably sleep eight or more. Harley Gainer tugged at her cut-off jean shorts. The material felt scratchy next to her skin. She wanted it off and she wanted to run. Already sweat slicked her inner thighs and palms. Nerves controlled her every move, her every breath. Agreeing to this had been foolish. She’d been thinking with her hormones, not her head. When Wyatt Hews had suggested hooking up for a weekend of fun she’d thought she’d won the lottery. She’d had a crush on the man since she was sixteen but he’d been quick to keep her at arm’s length… to a point. Five years her senior, he’d seemed so out of reach. Plus, he was friends with her older brother and that meant she was technically off limits to him and his buddies.
She hung her head, her white blonde hair falling forward, giving her a veil to hide partially behind. It wasn’t much, but it would do for now. She was out of her element. She wasn’t a wild child. She wasn’t one of the women in town who chased after men. She normally kept herself unavailable to them all. All but the two she was with.
Clay Miller, Wyatt’s best friend, took a seat at the tiny table area and held a beer out to her. “You all right there?” he asked, his drawl slightly less than Wyatt’s. “You look a tad pale.”
Harley reached out and took the beer from him, her hand skimming his. His brown eyes lit with amusement and something she thought might be desire. She was too new to all of this to know for sure. The only thing she was sure of was she was in over her head. Big time.
These two men were notorious for liking kink and sharing women. She knew it but she’d still agreed to come. She didn’t want to be another notch on their belt buckles and something deep down told her she wouldn’t be. She’d felt connected to them both on a weird level since she’d met them years ago. Though, the connection she felt to Wyatt was more than to Clay.
Clay ran the backs of his fingers over her arm. Moisture from the beer bottle was still on his hand and he smeared it over her hot skin. She hissed as excitement pulsed through her. Clay grinned. He ran a hand through his jet black hair. His muscles rippled and she bit at her inner cheek. Clay’s mother was from Mexico, giving him a caramel coloring to his skin all year round and a certain exotic edge over many men in Macon Valley.
Harley forced her gaze toward the front of the RV. Wyatt was there, driving the beast to a quiet location he and Clay had already scouted and agreed upon. His dark brown hair curled out from under his cowboy hat. She laughed softly at the sight of him there in a pair of Levi’s, boots and hat—nothing else. His various tattoos were evident. Each one only added to his sex appeal.
He steered the RV down a bumpy dirt path. The headlights barely pierced the darkness. When she spotted a giant gnarly old tree, she knew where they were. Her gaze snapped to the rearview mirror. She found Wyatt glancing back at her, his green eyes knowing.
“Remember this spot?” he asked.
She did. It was the spot she’d received her first kiss. Wyatt knew because he was the man who had kissed her.
Clay smirked and she suspected Wyatt had told him of their past together. Wyatt clutched the wheel as he pulled the RV to a stop near the edge of the lake. He turned, his gaze sweeping to her. He put a hand on his thigh. “Before I left, I made you a promise. You remember it?”
Harley swallowed hard. She did. He’d kissed her and heavy petting had come into play, but he’d stopped everything, pulling back from her, telling her that when he returned home from the service—and when she was older—he’d be back to finish what he’d started. He’d also made her make a promise to him in return.
She’d kept her end of the bargain and it was plain to see he was about to make good on his. She wasn’t sure she was ready for him to pay up. Truth was, she’d dreamt of this moment for years but now that it was here she was sure cutting and running was the answer.
Clay tapped her arm gently. “You look a li’l’ yellow. You gonna make it?”
Was she?
She swayed and held tight to the edge of the tiny table. Clay’s hand slipped over hers, calming her. She’d known him all her life but he’d always stayed slightly removed from her, unlike Wyatt, who had actively pursued her while growing up—even against express orders from her older brother Cody.
If Cody had any idea what she was about to do, he’d skin Wyatt and Clay alive, friends or not. She was off limits to men. Period.
She turned her hand in Clay’s, their palms touching. She met his gaze and took a deep, calming breath. He winked. “If you want me to go, I’ll walk back to town and leave you and Wyatt be. I’m guessing you didn’t want me in on this.”
She’d never really thought of herself as the type of woman who would give her body to two men at one time. She tended to look down on those who did. Turning Clay away wasn’t really an option. He wasn’t the same man he’d been when he left for the service. Wyatt came home only slightly different, older, a little harder to life. Clay came home a shell of himself. Wyatt seemed to think this would help bring him back. She wanted to be part of that healing process. And she wanted Clay.
She held tight to his hand. “Stay. I want you here.”
He was quiet a moment. “Wyatt seems to think this will be your first time—that you’re a virgin in more ways than one. He right?”
Pink stained her cheeks as she nodded.
“Not for lack of offers I’m sure,” stated Clay. “You’re just about the prettiest woman I’ve ever laid eyes on, Harley. I’ve heard other men in town talking about you—about what they wanted to do to you.”
Wyatt made a strange noise.
Clay glanced toward him. “It’s part of what prompted that fight the other night at Ackerman’s bar.”
“The one where the Sheriff had to come pull you two off those guys?” asked Harley.
Clay nodded. “They were runnin’ their mouths about you. About how sexy you are and about all the things they’d do to you if given the chance. Wyatt and I didn’t particularly like what they were sayin’.”
Wyatt snorted. “Didn’t like it? We’d have killed the dicks if given the chance. Snapped their fucking necks.”
“True,” replied Clay, his hand tightening around hers. He lifted their joined hands. “See. We both know you’ve had offers. Lots of offers. What we’ve been wondering is why it is you’ve not acted on them before and why are you letting us share in this?”
Harley had asked herself the very same questions too many times to count. She smiled and gave the best answer she could. “Because.”
Clay snickered and then broke into a chuckle.
&
nbsp; Wyatt simply stared at her from the front of the RV. He stood slowly. “What do you say to some skinny dippin’ to get things started?”
Harley’s nerves settled a bit. She inclined her head. “Sounds like a plan.”
Clay stood as well, though his movements were stiff. She’d heard rumors that he’d been injured overseas. She’d not had the heart to ask. He rubbed his left knee through his jeans, pain evident in his dark eyes. Boldly, Harley rose to her feet and pulled off her tiny tank top. Her bikini top rode up on the swells of her breasts. Clay’s glance snapped to them. He bit his lower lip, his hand sliding from his knee and reaching out toward her breasts.
She stood perfectly still.
Chapter Two
Clay Miller’s heart pounded so loud he was sure people the next town over could hear. Part of Harley’s pink nipple peeked out from her bikini top. Her nipples were hard—like diamonds. Fuck, he couldn’t stop himself. His hand had a mind of its own as it reached out, making contact with her breast. A sharp intake of breath greeted him. He didn’t stop and she made no move to end what was happening between them. He’d spent so many nights stroking his cock to thoughts about the woman before him. Here she was, ready to let him and his best friend in all the world do things to her people just did not speak of. People other than him and Wyatt. They talked about sex all the time. Sex with Harley, to be specific.
Wyatt wanted to pop her cherry. He had been obsessed with the act since before they’d gone off and served their country. Clay knew his friend wanted more from Harley. More than simply being the one to break her in. Wyatt wasn’t exactly great with words or emotions. He was more of a take-action kind of guy.
Clay glanced briefly at his friend and found Wyatt there, undressing slowly, watching the events unfolding before him. Clay focused on Harley. Her eyes were wide as she brought her hand up, placing it over his. Such a stark difference in both skin tones and softness. His hands were rough. Hers were smooth, like silk. He could already imagine them wrapping around his erection.
He swallowed hard, his concentration going to her rosy nipple. He pushed the material of her bikini out of the way, freeing her left breast. His breathing sped. The next he knew, he had hold of the flimsy material of her bikini top. In one fluid motion he tore it from her body. She gasped and grabbed his wrists. He stared down at her, waiting for her to tell him to stop. She panted, her shoulders moving up and down, causing her breasts to do the same.
Unable to resist the temptation, Clay bent, and the moment she gasped again, his lips crashed over hers. She tasted sweet, yet with a bite of the beer she’d been sipping. His cock throbbed, aching to be free and in her. His tongue slipped into her mouth and she whimpered in his arms. She moved her body, rubbing it against his. He continued kissing her, feeling her relaxing more and more. She’d been skittish on the drive up—she’d looked and acted like a bunny in a trap.
As Harley began running her hands over his arms, Clay smiled against her lips. He moved his hands, finding her exposed breasts. He cupped them and swirled his thumbs over her nipples. She ground against him. He drew off her lips enough to talk. “The shorts,” he said. “Take them off or I’ll rip those off you too.”
“You will?” asked Harley, her eyes wide.
He grinned, still rubbing her nipples. “Oh yeah, baby. I’ll fucking tear them off and then I’ll punish you for disobeying me.”
Excitement lit in her eyes. This was his fantasy, Harley here, with him, at his whim, willing and ready for whatever he wanted from her. It was Wyatt’s too.
Clay glanced toward Wyatt. His friend had his jeans off and was there, at the front of the RV, fully naked, caressing his long, thick cock. Clay’s mouth watered at the sight of his friend’s body. They’d shared more than their fair share of women in their life and they’d shared other things too—unspoken things. And now, now they were going to share the one woman they had both desired for years—Harley.
She removed her shorts. He smiled. “Good girl. Now the bikini bottoms. Take ‘em off and let me see that sweet li’l pussy.”
She licked her lower lip and began easing the bottoms down her legs. Clay enjoyed the slow, torturous show. He undid the front of his pants and freed his cock. Wrapping a hand around it, he continued to watch Harley. A small thatch of blonde curls was there, a runway on the mound of her pussy. The sight of it excited him more. He wanted to bury his face in it.
Her gaze was on his cock. Her cheeks were about as pink as could be. He did his best not to smile at that. Both men knew how innocent she was in the ways of men.
Wyatt approached. Harley stepped back when she noticed he was naked and fondling himself.
Wyatt grabbed for her. “None of that now, darlin’. I made you a promise. I intend to keep it. Now kiss me.”
She did. Clay remained fixed in place, watching as his friend tongued the woman of their dreams. Wyatt was aggressive in his kiss of Harley. He jerked her closer to him. Clay knew how much Wyatt wanted the woman. Hell, he wanted her too, but he wouldn’t let harm come to her. He touched his friend’s shoulder. “Don’t break her. She’s just a li’l thing.”
Wyatt slowed in his demanding kiss. He eased back from Harley a touch and pinched her chin between his thumb and forefinger. “Woman, I thought about you every damn day. Every day.”
She blinked up at him, moisture in her eyes. “I thought about you too.” She glanced at him. “About both of you.”
Clay eased closer. “The thought of you got us through some hard times, baby.”
She reached for his jeans with one hand and wiped under her eyes with the other. “We’re both naked but you’re not.”
Clay caught her wrist. He didn’t want her to see his leg. He’d wait until they were outside under the cover of darkness before he’d fully remove his jeans. The scars on his leg and knee weren’t something he wanted to show her.
Wyatt exhaled slowly, his hand finding Clay’s low abdomen. “Don’t close down on her, Clay. We’ve finally got her here with us. You’ve known her all her life. You really think what you’re worrin’ about will make a bit of difference to her?”
Clay stiffened.
Harley seemed fixated on Wyatt’s hand. Her mouth formed an “O”. “You two…? You touch?”
“The idea of that sicken you?” demanded Wyatt, his tone harsh.
Clay put his hand over his friends. “She’s curious. She’s not judging.”
Harley held her chin high. “Wyatt Hews, are you forgetting who my brother is? He’s a man who is happily married, or whatever you want to call it, to a woman and a man.” She pointed at him. “You may think the entire town doesn’t know but we do. Heck, I knew from when I was young that Cody and Everett were more than just friends. I would like to think you know me well enough to know that I would never judge what is between you and Clay.”
Clay hid his grin. It was good to see a spark of sass in her. When they’d gone off and joined the service, she hadn’t been the type of girl to stand up for herself in any form or fashion. This was a welcome addition to their li’l’ Harley Gainer.
Chapter Three
Wyatt Hews stood with a hand on his best friend’s abs and a blank expression on his face. Little Harley Gainer knew his sexual tastes ran to both men and women and she wasn’t faulting him for that? He’d lived in fear of her finding out about his feelings for Clay—that she’d look down upon him like so many others did. Instead, she seemed not only open but very accepting. In fact, she looked downright turned on by the idea.
“Harley?”
She put her hand on her hip? “What?”
“You don’t think we’re freaks? I mean…”
She let out a long annoyed breath. “Wyatt, I’ve heard some of the townspeople whispering about you and the others like you—and let’s be clear, we both know there are others. This town likes to judge but where were they when you all were under the thumb of their prized coach? This is football country, if the team’s winning, no one stops to question how
or why.”
Wyatt tensed. None of the men he’d gone through school with spoke of past events. They didn’t talk about what had happened to them all. What they’d lived through for years and years or how a large portion of them had learned to cope with it all these years later.
Harley squared her shoulders. “They whisper about how shameful the way some of you behave is, but you’re not breaking any laws. You’re all consenting adults, unlike what they let happen, and before you tell me they didn’t know, they’d have to be blind and stupid to miss it. They chose not to know. End of story.”
Wyatt tensed.
Harley reached for him. “I won’t bring it up again. Promise. You just need to know that I know and that I don’t judge either of you. It’s not your fault. None of it was. You were all victims.” She teared up more. “I’m so thankful you both made it home to me that I can’t even express in words.”
Wyatt glanced at Clay and knew his friend was thinking the same thing he was. They were right. Harley Gainer was the woman for them.
Clay looked down toward his injured knee. Wyatt knew his friend worried about what Harley would think of the scarring on his leg and knee. Wyatt nodded to Harley. “Touch him.”
Her gaze snapped to Clay’s cock. She put her hand out and then drew it back. Wyatt took her hand in his and pulled her closer to Clay. He put her hand over his friend’s shaft and moved it, showing her how to please Clay. When she found a rhythm that worked, he eased his hand away and went for the top of Clay’s jeans. The corner of Clay’s mouth twisted in exasperation. Wyatt pleaded silently with him. This was it, the moment they’d waited so long for.
Reluctantly, Clay inclined his head and Wyatt pulled on his jeans, easing them down Clay’s legs, mindful of the spot he knew to be sore. When he was in front of Clay’s injured knee, he kissed the area, looking up through hooded lashes at his friend. Clay reached down and touched the top of Wyatt’s head.
